Dangerous Wind Chills
Sunday temperatures exploded, 50s from several spots including NBC 2. After a mild, though breezy weekend, another bitter arctic airmass moves in tonight. Overnight snow was nothing more than flurries or a dusting far North and Northeast.
Dangerous wind chills tonight through early Wednesday. Exercise caution if you're going to be out for any length of time. Frostbite can happen on exposed skin in about 15 minutes with these wind chills.
Lows Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: 2, -8 and 1. Highs the same days: 4, 8 and 22. Wind chills Monday -10 to -20, Monday night -16 to -26, even colder with gusts to 40 from the Northwest. Bundle up.
Snow in overnight will be light and difficult to measure with the winds, look for blowing snow into Monday. Plenty of slick spots on roads too.
More snow showers Thursday through Saturday with a rain-snow mix Sunday.         Temperatures start to warm Wednesday daytime and will be near normal by the weekend.
