Weather: Saturday, 12/14/13

Cold night and colder Sunday in store, but warmer weather is on the way.

Snow left our area in the afternoon/early evening, with the hardest hit areas to the north of Interstate 70. The winter weather advisories expired at 6 p.m., but still be careful on the roads out there... temperatures will be low tonight so icy conditions are expected. For tonight we have another chance of flurries after 8 p.m. and a breezy night ahead, down to just 16 degrees.

Sunday looks very cold, and another chance of flurries sticks around. A high of just 19 and down to 8 degrees overnight.

We'll start to see a warming trend though and by Tuesday we're above the freezing mark... 45 by the time we hit Thursday and 58 for Friday! Rain chances move in Thursday night and stick around for Friday, and a bit of a drop in temps behind that.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
