VU investing in several campus renovations

Vincennes University is investing millions of dollars to renovate several buildings on campus and one at the Indianapolis airport.

Vincennes University is investing in some major campus renovations.

The board of trustees just approved $4.5 million worth of renovations to two residence halls. The Morris and Vanderburgh hall renovations wrapped up in October.

The renovations included HVAC upgrades, an electrical system upgrade and exterior windows were replaced.

The total cost was $7.4 million. Some of the renovations were funded by housing operating reserves.

The work isn't done though. The Finance/Revenue Committee will now start approving bids for major renovations of the original part of the technology center on VU's campus and the Aviation Technology Center at the Indianapolis airport.
