A Vincennes man tried to run away from the police, literally, last night but he didn't get very far.
Shawn Crouse, 29, was driving a car with two others inside.
One headlight was out and a state trooper spotted the car exceeding the speed limit on Highway 50 near Wheatland.
When he stopped the vehicle, Crouse fled on foot but was later caught.
The two passengers, Eric Boger, 28, and Kolbie Staley, 22, both of Vincennes were busted on charges when meth and paraphenalia were found in the car.
All three are in the Knox County jail.
