The Grand Traverse Pie Company hosted a Toys for Tots drive Saturday afternoon.

The drive brought in dozens of toys to give out to children in need this Christmas, and organizers say it truly makes the spirit of season shine bright.

"The biggest thing really is those families that can't support their kids, or can't help out. We love to be able to get back even the smallest way. There are so many that are hurting especially with the disaster they came through and this will go to the family to help them out a lot," said Gunnery Sgt. Richard Deboy, United States Marine Corps.

Toys for Tots of Terre Haute has several more drives scheduled throughout the month.

There's also a volunteer night, and free dinner, on Tuesday, December 3 at 5:30 p.m.

It's at the Meadows Shopping Center.
