Terre Haute's Chamber of Commerce has a new president.Ken Brengle was introduced Wednesday morning at the Chamber office.
Brengle comes from California but spent much of his career in Colorado.
He replaces Rod Henry who resigned as president last summer.
Brengle was chosen from 80 candidates and brings over 30 years of experience to the job.
He will meet with community leaders soon and says the economic future is bright here, "When you look at a community the size of Terre Haute you realize about 30 percent of your employment base is manufacturing. That's great compared when you look across the country that a lot of communities don't have that high of a percentage."
Brendle will begin his duties officially on May 15. He is one of only 200 certified chamber executives in the country.
