It was a race to the finish line for many Valley kids on Sunday.
The Vigo County YMCA hosted a Super Kids Triathlon Sunday afternoon.
Complete with a a 100-meter swim, 3-mile bike, and one mile run.
It's all part of the goal of helping to get kids moving -- and healthy.
"Get kids off the couch and get an active in a sport that they can do after high school period a lot of tears will do this for thanks soccer in football throughout high school, but when they graduate there is it too many adult football leagues and adult soccer leagues, so we're just trying to get the children in a sport that they can do throughout their entire lives and remain active, and have an active lifestyle," said Ethan Page of Crossroads Event Management.
The event was open to members and non-members alike, and around 30 kids took part.
Organizers say they hope to make it an annual event.
