Sullivan Has New Business Downtown

Months-Long Process Lands New Lumber Yard Just One Block Off the Sullivan Square. Full Service Lumber Operation Will Open Soon. Construction on New Business Begins Next Week.
It was an exciting morning in the city of Sullivan as a new business is locating in the downtown area.

Ground was broken for Sullivan Lumber Supplies.

The business will be located one block south of the square between Court and Main Streets.

It will be a full-scale lumber yard.

The business will also offer custom cabinets and counter tops, along with metal moulding, doors and windows.

The project has been going on for nearly eight months.

Both city leaders and a representative of the business are excited about the opportunity.

Mayor Clint Lamb says, "This is a pure example of the private sector and local government coming together and working together to make something happen."

Attorney Joe Burton who represents Sullivan Lumber Supplies says, "Our hope is that we continue to grow and continue to expand upon our good nature and the way things have been going and we're looking forward to it."

Construction on the new business begins next week.
