Storms Rip Roof Off Terre Haute Business

Most of the metal roof at Inland Aquatics blew off during Sunday's storms. No employees - or fish - were hurt by the falling debris. The water in the tanks is good at holding its temperature steady so everything there is okay. Inland Aquatics is still open for business.
Sunday's storms also tore the roof off one Terre Haute business.

Here's what Inland Aquatics looks like now.

Most of the metal roof is gone.

The owner, who was out of town at the time, says customers contacted him right away about the situation - and he's grateful the damage wasn't worse.

"Everybody's been really generous and concerned and lots of people called and offered to do whatever they could because they knew we were out of town. Just thank everybody and we appreciate the support," said owner Morgan Lidster. "Actually the big part of the roof landed right here where my spouse and I tend to park our cars. She had just loaded the kids up maybe 10-15 minutes before most of the roof landed there."
