Sisters of Providence Celebrate Christmas at the Woods

Guests got a chance to bake and hand decorate homemade Christmas cookies with the Sisters of Providence, as well as take a tour of the campus on the Santa Shuttle. But if all that still doesn't get you in the holiday spirit, the dining hall was open all afternoon for anyone to come and sing their favorite Christmas carols.
Saturday was also Christmas at the Woods.

Organizers say it's a great way to spread some Christmas cheer - and show off all the Woods has to offer.

"We are so caught up in the commercialism of Christmas, and sure the kids get to the mall, but do they ever get to a place where they can just have some fun, they can bake cookies, they can run around, they can see alpaca, they can make Christmas ornaments, they can do something for them," said Sister Paula Damiano.

This was the first year for the Christmas at the Woods, and officials say they are planning on making it an annual event.
