President Obama is set to address the nation on syria
Today at the G20 summit, he announced he would make his case for u.S. military action in Syria from the White House on Tuesday.
Indiana senator Dan Coats says the President has backed himself into a corner on this issue.
"The president has painted himself in a corner on this. His credibility is at stake. I don't want to make a decision based on the President's credibility. I want to make a decision based on what's in the best interest of our county. That's what has to be debated," Coats said.
The President's address comes on the day after Congress returns to Washington following their summer recess.
This is expected to be one first issues they address.
