RJ Mahurin Leaving ISU Basketball Team

ISU junior RJ Mahurin will transfer to Indiana Wesleyan to play his final season with his younger brother Lane next season.
Indiana State head basketball coach Greg Lansing announced today that RJ Mahurin has elected to transfer to Indiana Wesleyan for his senior season. Mahurin will join his younger brother, Lane, who will be an incoming freshman for the Wildcats in 2013-14.

Mahurin is coming off his best season as a Sycamore as he averaged 10.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in 33 contests, starting 25. He hit 42 3-pointers during the 2012-13 campaign, which was the highest total on the team. In three seasons with the Sycamores, Mahurin averaged 7.2 points and 2.7 rebounds. He hit 100 3-pointers over his career, which ranks tied for 15th-best in the history of the program.
