Emergency management officials tell us that a call came in early Sunday morning about a couple driving into floodwaters on State Road 257, between Washington and Otwell. Officials say a man was rescued and is being treated at a hospital in Evansville, but the female passenger in the car is still missing. Indiana Conservation Officers and Sheriff's Deputies are taking part in the recovery effort, and say they'll remain on scene until dark.
UPDATE:
Adam and Kathryn McGill of Des Plaines, Illinois were in the vehicle that was swept away.

Adam, 35, who was driving, was rescued, and is now at Saint Mary's Hospital in Evansville with hypothermia.

Crews are still searching for Kathryn, 31. The search efforts included bank searches, side scan sonar, canine searches, wading shallow water and dragging operations.
