Power restored to thousands who've been without

Duke and WIN Energy both report that power should be restored for all customers who've been without it. Most outages were caused by heavy wet snow breaking tree limbs and power lines.

Power should be restored to the thousands of people in the Wabash Valley who've been without it. Heavy snow downed power lines and broke tree limbs.

A Duke Energy representative says that all power was set to be restored by Tuesday night. The official says at the height of the outage 8,000 customers were in the dark.

WIN Energy customers should all be back in business, too. The company says power in Sullivan and Vigo Counties has been restored. It says at its peak 2,500 customers didn't have power.
