Police Investigating Two Bodies Found in Vigo County

The bodies were found under a small bridge on a driveway which led to abandoned residence. A white 1997 Ford pickup was found at the scene and is believed to belong to one of the victims. The bodies are partially decomposed, but police say they appear to be an adult male and an adult female of middle age or older. Due to the decomposition, the positive identification may take a few days. Autopsies are scheduled for Monday.
Indiana State Police Detectives are investigating the deaths of two people found on private property near US 150 and Pennington Road in northwestern Vigo County.

The bodies were found under a small bridge on a driveway which led to abandoned residence. A white 1997 Ford pickup was found at the scene and is believed to belong to one of the victims.

The victims appeared to have been deceased for a few days, and the bodies are partially decomposed, but police say they appear to be an adult male and an adult female of middle age or older. Due to the decomposition, the positive identification may take a few days. Autopsies are scheduled for Monday. 


Investigators believe the male and female were in a relationship prior to their death and say there' s no threat to public safety in the area.
