Pizza Hut Wabash Valley Classic Bracket Set

A competitive 16-team field is set for the 10th annual Pizza Hut Wabash Valley Classic<br />

The music was blaring on the northside as the participants gathered for pizza and more importantly, the tournament draw.

Marshall's Tom Brannan, led his team to last year's title.

ISU’s Kevin McKenna was this year's special guest, drawing the team's out of the hat.  And the coach supplied us with a most competitive bracket.

Right off the bat, it's big school versus small school, with Terre Haute South facing Bloomfield, Sullivan tangles with South Vermillion, Turkey Run faces Owen Valley, then Riverton-Parke and West Vigo round out the top half of the bracket.

The home-standing North Patriots face Casey-Westfield, and what an opening round classic between Marshall and Rockville.  A Greene County affair pits Linton against Shakamak, and Northview and Monrovia, play the final game day number one on December 26th.

The coaches are looking forward to what has become a holiday tradition.

There will of course be a busy few weeks of basketball leading up to the Classic but once again, WTWO will broadcast the final two games of this annual Wabash Valley basketball tradition.
