The band director at Oblong High School in Illinois is on leave and faces criminal charges in Indiana.
Robert Yeley faces charges of sexual misconduct with a minor and child seduction.
He's accused of having sex with a 15-year-old in Indiana in 2010.
He's also accused of having sex with a student while he worked in the Monroe-Gregg school district in Indiana from 2010 until 2012.
Published reports say he was a substitute teacher and assisted with the band at Monrovia High School.
Yeley will be in court next month.
Oblong Superintendet Jeffery Patchett says Yeley is on unpaid leave and won't be allowed in the school while he's on leave.
