No Smoke Detectors Inside Vincennes House Fire

Crews got the call around 5 a.m. about a fire in the 1200 block of Broadway Street. A person was inside the house at the time, and has since been transferred to Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis for smoke inhalation and burns. The house is severely damaged.
Officials tell us there were no smoke detectors inside a Vincennes home that caught fire on Monday, sending one person to the hospital.

Crews got the call around 5 a.m. about a fire in the 1200 block of Broadway Street.

A person was inside the house at the time, and has since been transferred to Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis for smoke inhalation and burns.

The house is severely damaged.

The state fire marshal is assisting in the investigation into the cause of the blaze.
