Happy New Year!
We're starting 2014 off on a mild note temperature-wise, with a daytime high of 39, but snow moves into our forecast later this afternoon.
A winter weather advisory is in effect from 7 p.m. Wednesday until 7 p.m. Thursday.
For tonight, we're looking at a low of 21 and more snow, which sticks around for Thursday too. Snowfall accumulations for tonight and tomorrow looks like 1"-3" (lowest in the southern regions).
A colder system behind that for Thursday and Friday, but a warmer Saturday in store.
Another cold front moving in with some mix to snow Saturday night through Sunday night. Accumulations likely but too early to make a call on how much. Real cold behind that - coldest of the season.. and coldest in years! Sub-zero lows and we might now make it out of single digits for highs early next week.
