An area of low pressure that has moved through from the Mississippi Valley is bringing scattered showers across the Valley this morning. Rain will remain through early this afternoon with mainly scattered showers and a few isolated t'storms. Most of the rain is gone by later this afternoon, providing a drier night with mild mid 60s. Tomorrow we'll start the weekend with a dry break with a mix of cloud cover/sunshine and warmer, muggy conditions in the low 80s. Our next rainy period arrives rather quickly as a cold front moves into the region later this weekend. Late Saturday widespread showers/isolated t'storms are forecasted to move through the Valley with larger rain amounts expected. Rain totals of around 1.00" are forecasted as most rain comes to an end Sunday afternoon. Much cooler temperatures will follow as highs of only mid 60s are in the forecast to start next work week.
