Rain is making its way back into the Valley as a frontal system draped across the Great Plains will traverse the Ohio Valley the next few days. Most of the day period this Tuesday is dry with sunshine early on but clouds on the increase through the day. Temperatures will remain mild and seasonable this afternoon as we reach highs in the lower 60s. A late afternoon shower is possible for our far western counties along I-57, but most of the area doesn't see rain until this evening when scattered showers move in. The rain remains through tomorrow morning, making for a wet commute tomorrow morning but mild in the low 50s. Tomorrow continues the warming trend as highs reach unseasonable warmth around 70º. It looks like we'll have a brief break in rain tomorrow midday-afternoon, but more widespread rain returns tomorrow night. Some of these showers/isolated t'storms will produce heavy rain. More rain is on tap for Halloween, especially for later afternoon/evening as widespread showers/ scattered t'storms move through. Drier and cooler weather returns by Friday as highs only reach the 50s.
