Beautiful weather is here to start this work week with sunshine and warmer, seasonable low 60s today. A low pressure system moves closer to the Valley this midweek, bringing rain chances back to the forecast. Most of the day period tomorrow should remain dry with cloud cover on the increase. Scattered showers/ isolated t'storms arrive to the Valley by late afternoon but mainly by tomorrow night. Heavier and more widespread rain arrives Wednesday and Thursday as this low pressure moves closer. The main period of this widespread rain starts Wednesday night and lasts through Thursday. Impressive rainfall amounts are estimated with a couple of inches of rain possible with this event. The warmest days of the extended forecast also arrive during this time along the warm sector of this storm, with highs Wednesday/Thursday in the upper 60s. Cooler and drier weather is in this weekend's forecast.
