Very cool conditions remain today as temperatures will be the coldest of the week today and tonight. Seasonable highs/lows this time of year are in the lower 60s/40s. Meanwhile highs today only reach the mid 40s and lows have been in the mid 30s for most. Cloud cover stays heavy today, especially early on as an area of low pressure continues passing over the region. Northwesterly winds will be gusty at times with wind speeds in the mid-upper teens, making it feel even cooler than it is. A Freeze Warning is already in place in anticipation of a very cold night tonight with lows in the mid 20s. This will make for possibly our coldest night since spring as a hard freeze is likely. Even with the frigid start tomorrow, afternoon highs will began a climbing trend tomorrow with highs around 50º and ample sunshine returning. Mid-upper 50s are in the rest of the weekend forecast as dry weather will also stay around. Our next rain chances look good and hold off until Tuesday-Wednesday.
