Today is more of a seasonable start with temperatures running near average before big changes move into the forecast. Clouds are on the increase today as a cold front slides southeast, bringing the chance of an isolated shower this afternoon-evening. Highs today reach around 60º but a chilly night is ahead as cloud cover quickly clears up and temperatures drop into the lower 30s. This set up will likely provide widespread areas of frost by tomorrow morning. Another area of low pressure moves through later tomorrow, bringing more widespread showers to the area tomorrow afternoon/ night. Winds will be gusty at times with winds in the low 20s possible as we stay in this unsettled pattern. Rain showers late tomorrow night may mix with some light snow, mainly our northern half. Drier weather returns through the day Wednesday but even cooler air will follow as highs only reach the upper 40s for midweek. Temperatures moderate some to start the weekend, though a below average trend looks to set up and stay.
