Heavy fog is common once again this morning with visibilities near 1.00 mile for many areas in the Valley. This will mean a muggy and mostly cloudy start to the day with partly cloudy sky around this afternoon. An area of low pressure to our south continues on a northward track today, meaning we'll gain the chance of an isolated shower mainly later this afternoon though most of the day looks dry. Scattered showers will be on the increase late tonight and remain through tomorrow afternoon before diminishing by tomorrow night. A temporary dry period sets up for most of Thursday night-Friday with rain returning Saturday. A strong cold front will bring significantly cooler air into the region by the end of the weekend. Ahead of this system, showers/t'storms are likely for late in the day Saturday and overnight before ending Sunday.
