Drier weather is moving into the region today with the passage of a cold front overnight. Any rain is well of to our east this morning, but cloud cover remaining will be slower to exit. By this afternoon skies become partly sunny, but cooler temperatures will be the trend with highs only reaching the low 60s today. Tonight is even cooler in the lower 40s with clouds filling back in as a weak low pressure area moves closer. This may spark some isolated showers primarily for the northern half of the Valley during tomorrow morning-midday period. Any rain quickly ends with a drier but cool second half to the day as highs only reach the upper 50s. Lows tomorrow night drop to around 40º, making what will be one of our coolest overall days in months. Friday is warmer and sunny with highs more seasonable in the mid 60s. Another weak front brings low rain chances fairly quickly with isolated showers possible late Friday/early Saturday. The weekend remains cool in the low 60s.
