Morning Weather: January 7, 2014

Sub-zero Temps Make an Exit
Though this morning is even colder than yesterday with more sub-zero temperatures in the teens, a warming trend is on the way!  A Wind Chill Warning will remain in effect until this evening as wind chills stay well below zero, especially early on.  Lots of sunshine returns to the Valley today as we gain slight warming with highs in the upper single digits.  Cloud cover starts filling back in tomorrow as another system moves through the region, providing some low snow chances later Wednesday night-Thursday.  Though this could produce some light snow accumulation, this continues to look like a low-impact system for the Valley.  The end of the week's forecast remains wet at times and unsettled, but temperatures will continue rising day by day.  Tomorrow we're in the upper 20s with 30s to finish the work week.  Above average temperatures in the low 40s await this weekend as a frontal system brings some rain back to the area.
