This week starts off seasonable as temperatures climb back into the upper 30s with some sunshine in the mix. A cold front to the north dips south across the region late today, ushering in cloud cover this afternoon and snow tonight. Snow showers will become widespread over the Valley late tonight and remain through tomorrow morning with minor accumulations expected. Most received just under an inch of snowfall with this event. The much colder, arctic air will lag behind, filling in during the day tomorrow. This will result in temperatures falling during the day Tuesday from mid teens to single digits by the afternoon. A very cold night follows for tomorrow night as lows drop to lower single digits with sub zero wind chills. Wednesday could see another quick shot of snow with minor amounts once again. The rest of the midweek forecast stays frigid with highs mainly in the teens and lows nearing the zero mark. This weekend rebounds somewhat with 20s/30s returning and another low chance of snow.
