Rain is on the way for the Valley as a warm front to the south moves north across the region later today. Showers will be on the increase by mid afternoon, filling in to southwestern portions of the Valley and becoming widespread by this evening. As warmer air continues filling in, highs today break into an above average range in the lower 40s. Rain continues overnight but comes to an end by later tomorrow morning with 0.50-1.00" of rain falling across the area. Though some minor flooding in low lying areas is possible, flooding remains a low threat for most. Temperatures remain mild throughout the weekend with low-mid 40s and sunshine returning full force by Sunday. We'll remain on this mild pattern to start next work week.
