Mobile Market Gets Moving

Local residents who can't afford or don't have access to fresh fruits and vegetables, now have a new option. The United Way first unveiled the Wabash Valley Mobile Market earlier this month. It will make weekly stops at designated locations throughout the community every week, selling fresh fruits and veggies to those who may not be able to get to the store as often.

Organizers say its just another way to help keep the community healthy

"We are trying to do our part to try and bring fresh fruits and vegetables directly more directly to people so that it's convenient for them. We'll just try to create a healthier community and make our community better overall through our small part that we are going to play in that," said Norbert Gottschiling, Moblie Market director.
