Lawrence County School on Lockdown

Schools in Lawrence County District 20 are on lockdown after police received threats from a former student. Classroom and exterior doors will be lock and there will be a police presence at the schools. The former student is in the process of being removed from the state.
Schools in Lawrence County District 20 are on lockdown.

That's according to a letter the superintendent posted on their website.

Classroom doors and exterior doors will be locked and schools will have a continued police presence.

The precautionary measures come after the Lawrenceville Police Department warned the schools of a threat from a former student.

The letter says the student who made the threat is in the process of be relocated out of state.
