ISU Towers Implosion on Hold

A multi-million dollar plan to demolish vacant towers at Indiana State University is now postponed after an Indianapolis company makes a proposal.
Plans to demolish the vacant Statesman Towers at Indiana State University are now on hold.

An ISU representative told the Trib-Star a proposal has been made to re-purpose the towers.

Core Redevelopment of Indianapolis confirmed its interest this week. The company is known for turning Bush Stadium into Stadium Lofts Apartments in Indy.

There is no word yet if the towers will be renovated for residential use.

The school rep said they will make a decision in four to six months.
