Indiana State University's president says the university is gearing up for big things.

President Daniel Bradley gave his annual fall address Wednesday afternoon.

ISU began several new programs this school year, including their flight academy partnered with the Terre Haute International Airport.

Bradley said the university is in third gear driving it's developments and improvements, and expects next year to shift into fourth gear.

For 2013, Bradley focused on the increase in the university's retention rate contributing to it's record enrollment.

"12,448 for the fall of 2013, the largest enrollment since 1972. Let's hear applause for that," said Bradley.

ISU was also named number one in the nation by Washington Monthly for community service and non-profit leadership on campus.
