ISU Police Arrest Four for Overnight Incident

Officials say that around 1 a.m. on Sunday, six men accosted two former students in a campus parking lot. Four men were arrested, three of them ISU students. Police are still looking for two others believed to be involved in the attack.
Indiana State University police have arrested four men - and are searching for two more - following an attempted robbery overnight.

Officials say that around 1 a.m. on Sunday, six men accosted two former students in a campus parking lot.

One of the suspects knocked a man to the ground, and the others surrounded a female, demanding valuables.

The suspects pushed and shoved the woman to prevent her from escaping.

University Police quickly arrested four men: Myrin Kirksey, 19 of Gary, and Mykel Mayes, 18, of Crown Point, were arrested for attempted robbery, while Martel Murphy, 19, of Gary, along with Brandon Hollingsworth, 19, of Gary, were arrested for assisting a criminal. 

They're ISU students, except for Hollingsworth 

All four set to be in court Monday morning.

Nothing was stolen and no injuries reported.

Police are  looking for two others believed to have been involved in the attack.
