Happiness Bag Relief Ride

The fundraising event helped to bring in donations for the Happiness Bag and the IBEW #725. Festivities started off with bike competition and ended with a ride around town.
Valley bikers hit the streets on Saturday to raise money for two local organizations.

The Relief Ride took place this afternoon in Terre Haute.
   
The fundraising event helped to bring in donations for the Happiness Bag and the IBEW #725's Relief Fund.
   
Festivities started off with bike competition and ended with a scavenger hunt ride between Terre Haute to Merom.
   
Organizers say its a great way to have fun, and give back to two worthy groups.

"There's a lot of people that are in need and we like to give back to the community," said Josh Pickering, Relief Fund Ride chairman of IBEW #725.

Jodi Moan of Happiness Bag added: "The benefits that we hope to get from this event are going to help a lot of folks. A lot of folks that are in need, and a lot of folks that will get to experience things that others don't necessarily get the chance to do."

There was also a scavenger hunt at the event where participants could win up to $200 in prizes
