It happened on Sunday afternoon, according to the Greene County Daily World. The paper reports that Larry Uland, 49, of Solsberry, was heading westbound on State Road 48 west of Bloomington when his mini van crossed the center line and hit a motorcycle driven by Tammy Hale, 51.

The Herald Times reports that Uland's blood alcohol content was above the legal limit. He was not injured.

Police say Hale was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital where she died Sunday evening.

Uland has already bonded out of the Monroe County Jail.
