Some Valley girl scouts became "PR Stars" Saturday morning.

The Girl Scouts of Central Indiana hosted the event.

It's a way for the girls to get a crash course in media training and interview skills.

About 20 scouts took part, getting some expert advice, and organizers say it was a great success.

"This is a real leadership experience. That's what Girl Scouts are all about, it's about leadership. This is giving them the opportunity to learn what it's like to be a leader,
and to walk forward, and do things that they maybe normally wouldn't do," said Becky Buse, regional director of the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana.

NBC 2's Kellie Bartoli was proud to take part in this year's PR Stars. Part of her job was interviewing each scout who was there, getting them ready for the next time a TV crew is around!
