Just in time to break your new year's resolution, Girl Scout cookies have arrived.

Cookie sales start on Saturday all across the Valley.

The cookies, which are $4 a box, will be delivered the week of February 3.

Those involved say it's not just an important fundraiser, it teaches the girls a lot leadership lessons.

"They had to set goals of how many there going to sell, they have to sell the cookies and collect the money. They have to manage the money and get the cookies to the people. So really it is a skill building activity," said Becky Buse of the Girls Scouts of Central Indiana.  "Every box creates not only an opportunity for the girls to do Girl Scouting, but also for the many programs that we have going throughout the 45 counties."

If the Girl Scout cookies are just too tempting to keep in your house, you can try Operation Cookie Drop.

You buy a box, and it's sent to troops stationed overseas.
