After fifteen years in business the Furniture Gallery on Terre Haute's south side has closed its doors.

Owner Kim Worland officially closed the store on December 23rd.

She says the decision was best for her family and wants to thank all the people in the valley for all their support over the years.

"As far as the furniture business, I've really had enough. I want to make sure that the public and all my customers know just how important they've been to me, how much I loved them, and how much fun I've had with them," Worland said. "I actually got to be a part of their home. I can't say enough about what the Wabash Valley has meant to me."

The Furniture Gallery will reopen on January 1 to sell all remaining items in their store and warehouse.
