A former local businessman and an Ivy Tech board member has apologized for sending inappropriate e-mails.
The Indianapolis Star reports Bruce Walkup was told to stop the practice of sending the messages.
They included abusive political comments, along with sexist jokes and pics of nude women.
Tom Snyder, the President of Ivy Tech, was among a group that received the e-mails, but Snyder says he did not open any of them.
Walkup says he did not mean to offend anyone with the e-mails.
He remains an appointed member of the board at Ivy Tech but is not paid by the school.
