"Driver Inattention" Blamed in Car vs. Train Accident

According to the Vigo County Sheriff's Department, the mini-van was westbound near the railroad crossing of Evans Avenue and Dwelling Road when it was hit. Ray Scheid of Terre Haute was behind the wheel. The 79-year-old was taken to the hospital with head and leg injuries. He's still listed in critical condition.
Police say driver inattention is to blame in a mini-van versus train crash this weekend.
