Students from the Vigo County School Corporation's High School Equivalency program were honored Wednesday Night at Woodrow Wilson Middle School

Wednesday night the Vigo County School Corporation held it's High School Equivalency graduation.

It's a chance for the graduates to celebrate all the hard work they've accomplished the last year.

Jeff Clutter from the Vigo County School Corporation says it's an exciting time for everyone, “The folks who come to this ceremony are really excited for whatever reason they didn't get to do this in high school. This is an opportunity they didn't get to do in high school. This is an opportunity for them to celebrate with their teacher, with their family, friends, and just that sense of accomplishment that maybe they didn't get in high school.”

One-hundred and ninety individuals were honored at Wednesday night's graduation.

Officials have already started planning for next years event.

NBC 2 congratulates all being honored Wednesday night.
