Terre Haute City Cleanup

The event brought out more than 200 people.
Keep Terre Haute Beautiful held its annual spring city clean-up Saturday morning.

The event brought out more than 200 people.

They cleaned 1,000 city blocks on Terre Haute's north end.

The impact of the annual clean-up continues to grow each year.

Organizers say that's thanks in part, because of the enthusiasm of volunteers.

"I think people are passionate about not having litter on the streets because this is our community, they care about their community and when there is litter in the community they're disrespecting the community they live in," Jane Santucci, with Keep Terre Haute Beautiful said.

If you weren't able to make it out to today's clean-up, but would like more info on how to do you part to keep the city litter-free click here.
