Tech Talk-Google Hangouts

Cool for A/V
Google Hangouts have been around for a couple of years now. These days, the free consumer service has become so powerful it allows anyone to run a TV style talk show. You can be Jimmy Fallon right from your computer, even arranging guests to appear via smartphone or tablets.
Hangouts come in two flavors...Video Calls and Hangouts On Air. Video Calls can connect as many as 10 people to a conference. Hangouts On Air can do the same thing, but be watched live by anyone who tunes in. Hangouts On Air even automatically record themselves where they can be watched on demand via YouTube.
Hangouts is used by us TV types to interview people for reports, make personal appearances and hold meetings with colleagues.
Best part of all is it is free to use and so easy to set up even tech newbies can participate.
