Lots of people, and cars, were on hand for the 4th annual "Be There or be Square" car show in Sullivan.
Lots of people, and cars, were on hand for the 4th annual "Be There or be Square" car show in Sullivan.

The event was sponsored by the Sullivan County Shifters.

There was more than just cars though.

A live band, food, merchandise, and even some give-aways were all part of the event.

All of the money raised from the event will stay in Sullivan community, benefiting local charities.

"We have given away $3,500 already this year. We'll probably give away another $2,500 or so in December as a result of this show," Dan Brown, Charmain of the car show said.

Since the car show began four years ago, the group has donated more than $12,000 to local non-profit organizations.

This year 107 cars participated in the show.

That's the largest group in the show's history.
