Students at Sullivan High School continued a decades-old tradition on Friday, with members of the FFA group driving tractors to school.

Then, around lunchtime, the 25 kids took a few laps around the Sullivan Square, complete with a police escort, and friends and family lining the streets like a parade.

Those involved with FFA say it's exciting to see so many taking part.

"It's amazing. It makes me feel like everybody's wanting to be in it and want to join. It makes us feel special and good," said Kendra Scarbrough, president of FFA at Sullivan High School.

The tractor drive-in was part of National FFA Week.

Sullivan also celebrated with special dress days and cooking breakfast for faculty.
