The State is going after a Terre Haute company for running off with almost $100,000.

The Indiana Attorney General's Office is suing Rapid Running Event Management, LLC.The company's owner is Dave Mason.

We're told the company organized several out-of-state running events, but the races never happened and the runners weren't refunded.

This happened at least five times and the company made off with more than $95,000 in upfront payments.

The AG's office says they're seeking consumer restitution, civil penalties and attorneys' costs. They want to file an injunction against the company for violating the Deceptive Consumer Sales Act.
