Republican Jon Ford files to run for District 38 Senate seat

Jon Ford (R) of Terre Haute has filed to run for state Senate District 38. Ford is the president of All State Manufacturing and is on the Honey Creek Township Board.

A Terre Haute man is officially vying for a state senate seat.

Jon Ford has filed his candidacy for State Senate District 38, which covers Vigo County and northern Clay County.

The seat is currently held by Democrat Tim Skinner.

Ford is the president of All State Manufacturing. The Republican says he'll focus on building the Wabash Valley's reputation as a quality place to study, work and live.

Ford is a member of the Honey Creek Township Board. He's also been president of the Swope Art Museum and the Indiana Leadership Forum.
