Prom Dress Sale Benefits North Central Students

The school hosted a prom dress sale to help raise money to offset the cost of the prom and graduation day. Some girls also donated their gently worn dresses to benefit others who cannot afford a new one. Officials say in just a few hours, they raised over $600.
Dresses were flying off the racks on Sunday - not at a store, but at North Central High School.

The school hosted a prom dress sale to help raise money to offset the cost of the prom and graduation day.

Some girls also donated their gently worn dresses to benefit others who cannot afford a new one.

Those involved say it's impressive to see young people taking action.

"To see these girls take the responsibility of putting this on, but not only putting it on for money for them, but to help other people is very special," said organizer Geri Greve.

Organizer Paige Agnis adds: "It helps a lot of people who don't have a lot of money to buy a pretty dress for reasonable prices."

Officials say in just a few hours, they raised over $600.
