Police are still looking for answers into why a man shot another man in the face earlier this month.

The shooting happened at the Roskovensky Gravel Pit, just south of Clinton, Indiana on April 5th.

Police say the shooting stemmed from a disagreement between two neighbors, 31-year-old William Dowell and Harold Zucca.

Police say Zucca shot Dowell in the face. Zucca told police it was in self-defense.

The Vermillion County Sheriff's Office says they have not made any arrests nor is anyone cleared.

They say they're continuing to investigate every possibility and are giving the prosecutor's office every piece of evidence they find.

Dowell is in stable condition.
